The goat cheese we sell at the market is produced by the local Fossil Creek Creamery.
The Ranch at Fossil Creek covers approximately 15 acres, located adjacent to the Coconino National Forest and overlooking the Ponderosa Pines of the Tonto National Forest. Owners John and Joyce Bittner have been raising dairy goats and llamas here for several years, and in 2007, the new Fossil Creek Creamery was certified by the state of Arizona.
Most of the manure used in the Organic garden comes from the goats and llamas at this ranch. Likewise many of the vegetables used in the making of the different cheese flavors from the our garden.
